Paintora — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 August 2026 · Applies to the Paintora mobile app for iOS and Android

Paintora is an offline paint-by-numbers app. Your paintings, your progress and any photos you convert into painting schemes are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us. This policy explains the limited data that third-party services process when you use the app.

1. Data we do not collect

• No account, registration, name, e-mail or password — the app has no sign-in.
• Your painting progress, favorites, streaks and settings stay in local storage on your device.
• Photos you import through the converter are processed entirely on the device and never leave it.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows optional rewarded ads and occasional interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse (IP-based) location and basic device information to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app shows a consent dialog (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ad-related processing; you can choose non-personalized ads.
• On iOS the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission; if you decline, ads are non-personalized.

3. Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. These services process pseudonymous app-instance identifiers, coarse device information (model, OS version, language), app events (e.g. "painting completed") and, in the event of a crash, a technical stack trace. We do not send any personal content to Firebase. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

4. Notifications

Reminder notifications ("your painting misses you", streak reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification server is used, and notifications can be disabled at any time in system settings.

5. Children

Paintora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data retention and deletion

All app data lives on your device: deleting the app deletes it. Data processed by Google (advertising and analytics identifiers) is retained under Google's policies; you can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
